Background

Due to growing enrollment, the South Walton Academy was facing issues with space for their students. They had contracted to add an addition to the school through on-site construction. This addition was due to be completed before the school year started but the contractor pushed the completion date to January 2022. As a private school, the administrator had opened enrollment to accept 120 new students to occupy the planned addition. With those additional students enrolled and ready to start the 2021/2022 school year and the addition not completed, the administrator faced a dilemma of space and time.

The Solution

With a very aggressive timeline, South Walton Academy reached out to Mobile Modular to see if we could offer a solution to provide temporary units for the additional enrolled students. Working with the rest of the Mobile Modular team, we were able to locate and rehabilitate 6 of our units from separate Mobile Modular branch locations in Florida. With school starting in mid-August, Mobile Modular was faced with a very stringent timeline.

Mobile Modular Meets Strict Deadlines!

Within 5 days, we were able to deliver, set, and install our modular buildings along with the decks, steps, and ramps for accessibility to the classrooms. The South Walton Academy was able to open their new classrooms to their newly enrolled students all before the school year started!
