Background
Terrebonne Parish School District had two school campuses completely destroyed during Hurricane Ida. They needed temporary space quickly to get the students back in class and relieve overcrowding at other buildings within the district.
The Challenge
Mobile Modular was awarded the job of designing and building two entire high school campuses for South Terrebonne High School and Ellender Memorial High School.
The Challenge
Mobile Modular was able to design and install 172 floors across both locations within 6 months of receiving the contract. Each new school’s new buildings include all the necessary classrooms, plus 4 working kitchens for home economics, 2 science labs, a library, a cafeteria, changing rooms for physical education, separate band/music buildings, and each with gang and private restrooms.
The buildings were finished in early August in time to welcome the students back for the new year!
